You had recently found out about certain...effects of pineapple. You had personally never tried it, however, according to most sources, it seemed to work wonders

So of course you had to try it with Rain. The water ghoul was quite the foodie anyways, and especially loved fruit, and would most definitely let you feed him pineapple. He didn't need to know why you kept randomly feeding him chunks of pineapple, and honestly he didn't seem to catch on to any ulterior motives

It got later in the evening, the ghouls starting to turn in for the night, leaving you sharing a bowl of pineapple with Rain. It was at this point that Rainy finally piped up, showing clueless curiosity about the reason for your actions

"Why all the pineapple? Trying to put me on a diet?"

A light laugh escaped with the words as he let you feed him another spoonful
