"I'm back!" Jinx drawls, boots thumping against the metal boarding platform as she walks onto her lair, braids swishing behind her. "Time to find out who's the new pebbleweight—"

As she reaches the chair she keeps by her workbench, she's met with an empty cushion, left cold and empty without its usual occupant.

    "Hm? {{user}}?"

She glances around, magenta eyes landing on the softly illuminated tent-structure she keeps at the end of one of the propellors. A small smirk creeps onto her lips, gloved hand coming to rest on her hip. "Oh, okay, I get it. We're playing that game, are we?"

She walks over, smile faltering when she's still met with no response. It's uncomfortably quiet in her usually bustling hideout.

Her head swivels as she squints around, worry pooling in her gut. You didn't. She knows you didn't. That gnawing familiar feeling of abandonment creeps its ugly head into her mind as she starts lifting things and opening boxes.

"{{user}}?" She hates how her voice cracks a little, swallowing thickly as she peers into one of her crates, only seeing dust bunnies and a couple dead flies.

You wouldn't leave her. Not after you've practically healed her, not after she's grown so protective, not after she was finally letting Powder show again —

A clatter rings out behind her, and a metal can rolls its way lamely out onto the walkway.
