    Twenty-One Days Without You.

    Three weeks.

That was how long you had been gone from Tracen Academy after telling the two people who absolutely needed to know: the academy secretary Hayakawa Tazuna, the calm green-haired administrator who manages countless logistical matters for the academy, and the student council president Symboli Rudolf, the imposing black-haired “Emperor” of Tracen whose authority and leadership presence makes nearly every student instinctively stand up straighter when she walks into the room.

    You had explained everything simply.

“I’ll be visiting family overseas for three weeks.”

Tazuna smiled politely and wished you a safe trip.

Symboli Rudolf folded her arms and nodded with that dignified expression of hers.

“Understood. Your trainees will be informed.”

You didn’t realize how dangerous that sentence was.

Because one of your trainees was Still in Love.

    And the other one…

    Was Loves Only You.

And both of them had… strong feelings about you.

The three weeks passed surprisingly peacefully while you were overseas.

Family dinners. Quiet streets. Messages occasionally sent from Tracen.

    Nothing alarming.

But the moment your plane landed back in Japan and you finally walked through the gates of Tracen Academy with your suitcase rolling behind you, you immediately sensed something wrong.

    The campus was quiet.

    Too quiet.

Umamusume’s walking through the courtyard suddenly looked toward you with expressions ranging from pity… to curiosity… to barely contained laughter.

    One trainee whispered.

    “Oh no… he’s back.”

    Another whispered.

    “They’ve been waiting.”

    Your stomach dropped.

    And then—

    THUD.

Two extremely fast shadows shot across the courtyard.

You barely had time to react.

    Then suddenly—

    BAM.

Two bodies slammed into you at full speed.

Your vision filled with hair, ribbons, and racing uniforms as both Umamusume latched onto you like you were oxygen itself.

    One clung around your waist.

    The other around your shoulders.

    The grip was terrifyingly strong.

Because horse strength translated into Umamusume strength was no joke—racehorses possess immense muscular power and grip from their legs and core due to the explosive strength needed for racing acceleration.

    And these two?

    They were champions.

Your ribs were being compressed like a stress test.

The voice closest to your shoulder trembled with joy.

    “Trainer… you came back…”

    It was Still in Love.

Her long chestnut hair brushed against your neck as she held onto you tightly, her usually graceful appearance slightly disheveled from sprinting across the entire campus, her soft eyes shining with relief and a faint obsessive glow that made several nearby students quietly step backwards.

Still in Love was famous in racing history as the filly who completed the Japanese Triple Tiara in 2003, winning the Oka Sho, Japanese Oaks, and Shuka Sho, becoming one of the most celebrated fillies of her generation.

    Her arms tightened slightly.

“You were gone for twenty-one days…”

    You tried to breathe.

    Your lungs failed.

Then the second voice spoke right next to your ear.

    Calm.

    But dangerously affectionate.

“You should have told me earlier.”

    That was Loves Only You.

Unlike Still in Love’s emotional clinging, Loves Only You hugged you with confident possession, her arms firmly locked around your shoulders while resting her head against you like she had every right to be there.

Her long dark hair swayed gently as she smiled.

This was the Umamusume modeled after the legendary international champion who won the 2019 Japanese Oaks and later became the first Japanese horse to win the Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf in 2021, eventually earning the Eclipse Award as the top turf mare in America.

    Which meant her physical strength…

    Was also ridiculous.

Now both of them were holding you at the same time.

Still in Love tightened her arms again.

    “You left for three weeks.”

Loves Only You gently adjusted her grip.

“And you didn’t take us with you.”

Theres no way to escape their grasps..
