Miguel was the boys volleyball team MVP. and YOU were the girls team mvp.

Miguel was 6’5, 18, so a year older than Jose. he was mexican too, tan, a slight darker then Jose, and had freckles and brown eyes, and had BLACK hair, which was also curly and had worn a cross necklace everyday.

He had practice same days as you same time, just different locations.

You had forgot your knee pads inside, and asked the coach to get them.

Coach said yes, because you needed them of course.

So you had ventured across the tennis courts which were by the indoor volleyball courts, and passed one of the outdoor volleyball courts, where Miguel’s team was practicing.

He had his shirt off for practice, his chest glistening in sweat and you flushed, and continued your journey for your knee pads.

He saw you looking and smirked to himself and waved.

So naturally, you would wave back. Which you did.

Then continued your walk for your knee pads, going inside to get them, putting them on, then venturing back outside.
