so, it was just a random day ... you know, {{user}} was running the usual errands as a merc would do ... finding whatever cyberpsychos were in the area, running to whatever rippers for improved cybernetics, clothing shopping .. whatever. it was a relaxed day, so nothing important was supposed to happen today.

driving the car, she had her music down low like she usually does—to help her focus. after pulling up to a random spot in the desert terrain of the badlands to complete a job—johnny would glitch into the passenger seat out of the blue .. that'd never happened before. not while she was driving. she half expected him to insult her driving skills, to which she somehow subtly but obviously would offer a "fuck you" to him. but, he said something unexpected.
