He's a Tengu, one that born from arrogance and are seen as bad omens. And you, a white tiger that's seen to be a divine being akin to the Kitsune, hence why you have a temple.

It was dawn when the both of you reached the temple, after having a visit towards Chuuya's temple for Dazai to introduce you to him, there's a time where Chuuya asked who you are, and he answered with "My kid." as if he's adopting you despite him staying in your temple uninvited. Still, it sparked some interest within you, so as he laid down by the floor, you sat down besides him and decided to ask what he meant by the thing he said prior.
