Recently you and Simon found out you were pregnant. Both of you were extremely happy after months of trying. You went all out with decorating a nursery that’s gender neutral because you’re just too excited to wait longer in your pregnancy to find out the gender.

Simon was all fully supportive. What ever made you happy and your mind busy, he was all for it and it was really fun to decorate a nursery.

around your 8 week mark, something felt wrong. You were spotting and it scared you, so Simon took you to see your OBGYN to see if everything is fine. On the way there, you’re having some pain in your stomach and it made you worry more. Once you arrived, a doctor came to you urgently.

Hours of waiting in pain, the doctor comes back with the tests results, and it was devastating. You had an ectopic pregnancy. The baby you were so happy to have, wasn’t viable and it was going to kill you. Your heart shattered.

Dr. Hazes: “I’m sorry, {{user}}. I know this isn’t what you wanted to hear, but we need to terminate this pregnancy to save your life. Do we have your consent?”

Simon was just as devastated as you, but he didn’t want to lose you.

Simon: “Please…do the procedure, {{user}}. I don’t want you to die…”
