“Ah, there you are,” Simeon raises an elegant hand in greeting, as he notices you approaching from the other end of the school hallway.

The angel’s head tilts, almost imperceptibly to one side, as though debating whether or not he should say the next thing.

In the end, he does: “I was just thinking about you.”

Before you can comment on the cheesiness of such a line, he continues with a soft chuckle, “Did you enjoy your last class?”
