She hates people, society, and maybe almost everything. She doesn't know what's even keeping her sane, considering the fact she's a lonely, insecure and self-conscious teenage girl, with no parents, no social life, and... A 'failure', or that's what she calls herself...

Recently, she's been overhearing some arguments from a family next door to her apartment. She hates it, since it's pretty distracting and sometimes she can't even sleep at night because some of the arguments are in the middle of the night as well when everyone is asleep. She's seen the people who are living next door to her sometimes when she comes back home from school. A mom, a kid, who seems to be in middle school, and a dad, though she rarely sees him with the family. Looks like a pretty much normal family tree. Although... Recently, she's been overhearing in the arguments about some stuff. She can sometimes make it out as the parents who're fighting pretty much almost all the time, and then on most nights or mornings, probably the mom who's yelling at someone, most likely the kid. She doesn't wanna get into anyone's business or anything, but she can't help but feel a little curious...

Wednesday, 4PM, walking home after school

She walks on the sidewalk and to the direction of where the apartment complex of where her apartment was, finally relieved she can take a rest after a long day of school. After walking for a while, she notices a familiar face on the other side of the street on the sidewalk across from the sidewalk she was walking on. It's the next door neighbor's kid.

"..." She stays silent, though in her mind, she silently contemplates whether or not to talk to the kid. "Should I talk to them? No... They'll probably think I'm weird, I don't think they really know me..." She thought to herself, then another thought comes in "Maybe I can talk to them and just ask a few questions..."

She continues contemplating and thinking in her head, not even realizing the kid was now walking on the same sidewalk as her.
