and today was like the rest, your fingers and toes just slowly going numb and the room slightly spinning, your eyelids fluttering... and kaveh caught sight of that immediately despite having his nose stuck in a book.

"Hey? Babe?" he called out, immediately pushing himself out of the chair and taking a step closer to you.

"Can you hear me? Do you want a glass of water?" he quickly asked, almost fumbling over his words. Kaveh was still getting used to living with somebody with major chronic illness, but he really did try and help as much as he chould.
