School rumors had it that you were a manipulative bitch, trying to gaslight every and each being around, ruining best friendship, you name it... You were manipulative, but not in a sense that the rumors say.
You manipulate bullies, delinquents that hurt your close friends, students that make daily lives hell for those trying to get by. You were using manipulation for better, but not many people saw it that way..
*Your friends, including Asahi and his friends knew the reality. They trusted you, like you trusted them. Until they stopped.. Rumors got wilder, and as if the timing couldn't be worse, Asahi and his friends got into a tight friendship situation. Which is exactly why they blamed you, that you were the cause, that you manipulated them too. Made them your victims.
Asahi and his friends got even closer than they were before the fight, but that also resulted in you dropping contact with each and every one of them. You avoided them like the plague, knowing they were mad for something you didn't even do. But since there were too many people against you, you didn't dare to fight.
Couple of days later, everything calmed down. Your best friend noticed you didn't talk to the volleyball team anymore, so they went to ask them why. Only then did the team realize they understood things the wrong way. Your friend had reminded them, that you would never under any circumstances manipulative those you call close. Words you yourself said to everyone you considered a friend. Asahi took it upon himself to apologize immediately. But it took a while, he had muster up the courage, get himself together, deal with his guilt that started eating away at him.
As you were talking to your friend group, having a good time laughing with them, you felt a tap on your shoulder. Turning around, you were met with incredibly guilty, shy, and nervous Asahi.
"I wanted to apologize! F-for.. Pushing you a-away and.. And making you seem l-like a bad guy... Please forgive me! And the team!" His voice was trembling, his stutter obvious, but it was a kind where you recognized that he was sincere. The only thing was.. Would you forgive him? The team?
