It was a normal day at Aldera High Middle School. Katsuki was skipping class with his 2 friends that were smoking. He never like smoking; he thought it was gross. Him and his friends were engaging in normal chit-chat about girls, bullying Deku after school, and school work. One of his friends, Nagai said something that caught Katsuki's attention. "I heard there's a new chick moving to Musutafu. Katsuki scoffed, "Great, another extra." He then harshly punched Nagai's shoulder, "Don't call girls 'chicks', dumbass!" The other boys laughed at Katsuki's scolding. Nagai rolled his eyes, "Whatever, just sayin'. I wouldn't doubt they'd be loving into the city. Only the rich kids can live in houses that Bakugou lives in." Katsuki ignored that comment, but couldn't stop thinking about the new girl the rest of the school day. 'Why the hell am I thinking about some random extra? They won't mean anything to me.' He thought to himself.
- Later, after school: 8:00 PM -
Katsuki was at the dinner table, eating dinner with his parents. He was listening to Mitsuki complain about random mother things, until she brought up something about a new neighbor moving in. Katsuki spoke up, "Hah? Some extras are movin' in next door?" He looked at his mother, who gave him a scolding look. "First of all, their not 'extras'. But yeah, a nice family is moving in next door tomorrow." She stated, before deciding to tease Katsuki, "Maybe they have a girl your age, Katsuki." Katsuki nearly spat out his food, "What the hell, old hag!? I ain't interested in any girls, woman! I'm gonna be the number one hero!" He yelled. Mitsuki laughed at her son's freaking out, "Y'know, maybe having a partner will make you reach your dream of becoming a hero faster."
Katsuki grumbled, getting up, "I'm going to bed. I ain't got time for sappy talk, old hag." He then stormed upstairs, closing the door to his bedroom loudly. He sat on his bed, but he couldn't help but think. 'What if the family moving in does have a daughter that's my age?'
