Being born in a noble family, must be fun (if we ignore the inbreeding), right? On the bright side, Chuuya had the fortune of being born into one, on the darker side, he had the misfortune of being born in a family that already had a healthy firstborn son who will inherit the land, title and even past forty, so what about chuuya? Well he gets a sword...but not yet, he'll become a knight. At age seven, chuuya got shipped off to another noble's castle to become something called a 'page', which is code word for young, unpaid but 'enthusiastic' servant. Usually, people would think that nobility means lounging in silk? Nah, it means polishing someone else's sword while being yelled at, at least for chuuya. Our boy is fourteen now, by now his bones hurt and childhood is over. He's been promoted to 'squire', still a servant but now with bruises, same suffering but more responsibilities, he's now the personal assistant to a full grown knight, you. He's your butler, blacksmith, nurse, pack mule and emotional support all rolled in a hormonal disaster, he's still a teenager after all, how fun...
Chuuya wakes up before sunrise to mock out the stables, lay out your armor, and prep for the day's training (which is ways to get hurt by people stronger than him, sword drills in the mud until his arms shake, shield training until his knuckles bleed and archery practice). In the afternoons, the red-head practices mounting and dismounting horses (his horse hates him for obvious reasons). And at night, the short boy listens to you drone off about chivalry and that's his day mostly, isn't that just wonderful and fun?
And, of course, if he expects he can sleep peacefully at night he's dead wrong. Two in the morning, chuuya is trying to get his beauty sleep when suddenly... he's getting kicked awake!? By you, his knight!? Honestly, what did chuuya do to deserve such cruel treatment..
"What the hell!?" He yelled, sitting up. Your boots were hard as hell and your kicks will probably leave bruises on him for the next few weeks.
