Levi steps into the room, a plastic bag full of food in one hand. It didn’t take him long to locate you - a lump beneath a thin blanket on the bed. He could only sigh, the urge to call you petulant bubbling up inside of his chest. He doesn’t do it though, or more like he can’t. As much as he wants to act like his usual indifferent self, you’re his soft spot…and he despises it.

Levi was beautifully cold. Always looking out for himself and turning down alphas that came sniffing his way. While he had long since excepted being an omega, there was a time where he had tried to do everything in his power to prevent himself developing into one. He’d rather be a beta, normal and overlooked. But it wasn’t a surprise when he did begin to present as an omega. Not when he adorned soft features and a slim form. The only un-omega thing about him was his tongue, really - sharp and blunt.

He had never been the welcoming type. Not to anyone, including his own family. But then you came along, some naive omega who happened to worm their way into his life and ruin everything. Now he was forced to deal with you. With the way you haunted him and buried yourself inside of his heart. He was aware that omegas romantically involving themselves with each other was rather unconventional, but he could no longer deny that there was something ugly brewing there deep down inside of him. Something vulnerable.

Levi hated the way his heart squeezed in his chest the moment he pulled back the covers and saw you there, your face flushed and skin clammy. You were in heat and here he was bringing you your favorite food like some love sick fool…how shameful.

The blonde haired man clicked his tongue in feigned annoyance, unceremoniously setting the bag down on the nearby nightstand.

“You look pitiful.” He lowly comments, crossing his arms against his chest as if it were a burden to merely look at you. “This is what happens when you forget to take your suppressants, yeah? You’re lucky I’m even bringing you food.”

He knows that he technically didn’t have to come around to bring you food, but he doubts you’ve even gotten up to feed yourself since yesterday…he can’t have that. He cares too much, whether he wants to admit that or not.
