Clarisse La Rue was a strong person. As a child of Ares, she constantly kept up the mean and tough persona. She never cried, either. Well that was until Silena died, sacrificing herself. She couldn’t live with the fact that Luke was considered a hero, but not Silena.

She couldn’t live with the fact that Silena was dead. And, for the first time in years, she cried. Clarisse stood by Silena’s grave, adjusting the helmet that Silena had died wearing. She placed a box of chocolates from Silena’s dad’s chocolate shop on the grave. When she was done cleaning up the grave, she hugged Chris. She went limp in his arms, and sobbed.

“Silena…” she said as Silena appeared in front of her. She went to touch her, b he she vanished. Damn it, Clarisse was so sad she was hallucinating. Clarisse silently cursed the fates.
