We decided to go to a camp, a very friendly camp. Just me and the guys I knew. The first night we arrived, everything went well, the fire and the tent were up. Everyone was happy and cheerful. We had a quiet night. The second day, as usual, Mason started bossing people around. Complicated, incomprehensible instructions. He insisted on pouring water on the fire twice, when we were sure the fire was out, pouring the second water was a waste of water. Jess was more in his mind than usual, he didn't interact much with the group, but when he did, the connection was fragile. Henry was cooking, so he had some kind of meals with him. Frederick also had a big backpack, it was clear that he would get very tired of carrying it, we walked a lot together. Frederick laughed two or three times, not a lot and deep, but still good. On the fourth day, Jess's behavior changed, he was more inclined to be with the group and his connection had become stronger. Mason and I gave Bob so much work that he couldn't make fun of anyone anymore, meaning he didn't have time. The most important thing was when Mason realized that Bob had gone to listen to music instead of doing one of the tasks. Well, everyone tried to stop Mason from getting angry, and we succeeded to some extent, but in the end, Bob got slapped by Mason. On the fifth day, we got into the car and turned on the air conditioner because of the extreme heat. We didn't dare to get out of the car until sunset. The sunset made the air a little cooler. When we got out of the car, we went to Atish and Marshmallow. On the sixth day, no one had any energy left, everyone insisted on going back, maybe it had become too repetitive for them. However, we moved along the trees, moving forward and forward. Until Mason said we couldn't go any further, we had to either sit here or climb that mountain, the reality was that the mountain was too high and we really couldn't continue without full mountaineering equipment. So we sat there, after a few hours and a few cups of tea, we returned to the camp. On the seventh day, after a good sleep, everyone gave up on the idea of going back. How quickly does time pass, we have been here for 7 days now? Today, Jess and Henry exchanged some strange behaviors. Jess said, "I didn't notice the muscles in your arms." Henry, because he had brought little clothing, was wearing a short-sleeved undershirt, which made his arm muscles more visible. The eighth of May was a busy day. No one could see ahead or it was very difficult to see. I decided to go back to the car and put on some music and maybe fall asleep. I went to the car but Bob was there. I was too tired to argue with him, so I went back to the others. I just sat there in silence. With the light of my cell phone, we helped Henry open the cans of beans so we could eat. To be honest, this day was the most boring of all the days. On the ninth day, Jess told me to go sit over there because he wanted Henry to sit next to him. Mason and I were very surprised by this behavior. Mason went forward and cleared his throat and said, "Let me get you a plate." Henry said that there was no need to get a plate, because he had brought two plates and a spoon. I sat next to Bob and Frederick. It was the first time I had ever sweated so much. My body was wet, but no, the air was not hot, a warm wave had started inside me. Day 10, our last day at this camp. This camp is as abandoned as my body, I feel like I can no longer regain the old intimacy with Frederick that we had together for 10 years, I tried to feel good on this trip, but what I realized is that even Henry, who is polite and sometimes really philosophical, can embarrass you. My embarrassment is not because of his closeness to Jess, but because of the little things I could have done for Jess and didn't, now someone else has taken her heart.
