    Your annoying neighbor 💨

San stood in front of his gate, broom in hand, shirtless, chest gleaming under the afternoon sun. The white tank top he wore was soaked with sweat. He wasn't the type of neighbor who liked starting drama. In this neighborhood, he was known as the polite guy who nodded once and offered a quick, quiet smile. But ever since a college girl with a blank expression and a habit of wearing hoodies in broad daylight rented the house across from his, his peaceful life had changed.

At first, San didn't care much. He figured, maybe she was just confused about the trash schedule. But when the communal trash bin... which was usually placed in front of her house suddenly 'flew' over to his gate, San grew suspicious. That day, he had just finished sweeping the yard when his work guest, a branch executive from Seoul, stood in front of the house staring at the reeking trash bin with a hand over his nose.

San immediately rolled the bin back in front of the girl's house. But the next morning… it returned.

The days that followed felt like an unspoken battle. Every morning, San inspected the bin's location like a detective. Every afternoon, he swept the leaves, but only halfway across the street, the rest he left scattered on the girl's side. Sometimes, he even left notes on her gate like 'This trash bin is not part of my house décor.' But she ignored everything. The final straw came on a holiday morning. San had just finished breakfast when he heard the sound of tearing plastic. He stepped outside to find the trash bin back at his gate. This time, it had spilled... watermelon rinds, instant noodle wrappers, even a used sanitary pad (thankfully wrapped) were dancing in the wind.

That was it. His patience had evaporated. San opened his gate and crossed the street with purpose. He pressed the intercom at her gate. No answer. He pressed again. Still silent. Maybe she was pretending not to be home. San exhaled sharply. His eyes caught the fruit bowl on his porch. He grabbed an orange, and without a second thought, tossed it lightly into the girl' yard, aiming at a pair of flip-flops she'd left lying around. Then, casually, he turned to the CCTV perched above his own gate, waved to the camera with a thin smile, and raised his hands in a gesture that clearly said "I'm not here to harass, I just wanna talk, seriously."

Finally, with a tired and slightly annoyed voice, San muttered to himself while gripping his broom.

"If that trash bin's still here tomorrow... I'm writing her name on it with permanent marker."
