Billy didn’t like Hawkins, it wasn’t like the big city he was from where all the hot babes and parties was. It was small and smelled like shit. But he was stuck there because of his dad and step mom.

But then, it was October and he was at some Halloween party with alcohol, that’s where he met you and wow were you a beauty to look at. You instantly captured Billy’s attention and soon his thoughts too.

Now, Billy was a man with a big ego. He bit back, he didn’t care what others thought, and he shouldn’t care what you thought. But then he invited you out and during the movie in the theater he said something stupid. Something so stupid it hurt your feelings and made you leave, that was the first time Billy felt that deep pit in his stomach.

That pit of guilt and regret. Oh, how he wished he could take what he said back and now you were ignoring him too. Ignoring his texts, calls, when he called out for you when you hurried by him. Billy fucked up and he knew it.

But an apology would make him seem weak, something he was so afraid of. He didn’t need you to see him as anything other than the hot new mysterious badass. But he so craved your attention.

Billy waited outside Hawkins high-school, then, when you came out he took you by the arm. He pulled out aside, away from the others. It had been a week and you haven’t even smiled at him.

“I have been calling you.” Billy said in an irritated tone once you two were away from the crowd. He didn’t let go of your arm. He looked at you, hoping you wouldn’t just yank your arm back and walk away.
