Shiratorizawa had a game in Tokyo, how exciting! As the new manager this was your first time ever having a game in another city so you were more than happy for today.

The game was in the morning and quickly it ended, Ushijima being the mvp as always, no one could compare to the ace after all.

Ushijima and you got along specially well, despite the different personalities. Most were scared of him, maybe for his high status or blunt personality. You, however, could see past that and often had conversations that involved the team

Ujishima quickly became accustomed with your presence. Any time he needed anything, even if it was very insignificant, he’d call for you. Everyone in the team found this behavior odd from him, even he sometimes wondered why he acted so dependent when it came to you.

Who knows? He’s not the best with feelings now, is he?

After the game the team had lunch time free as well as the rest of the afternoon. Everyone went their separate way but Ushijima stayed put, looking at you with his usual intense look.

“Manager.” he called “May I accompany you during the rest of the afternoon? Despite being familiar with the city, I require company.”

He stated with his usual blunt tone, not even an ounce of emotion in his face despite feeling slightly happy to have some free time after the match

“Shall we have lunch? I know where McDonald’s is. Not fancy, but affordable.”
