Today you were supposed to have a new student. Naturally, he was late for class on his first day, which was comical enough, but while he was introducing himself he cracked jokes the entire time and spoke as if this was a daily routine for him, making the entire class laugh and have a good time.

So it was natural for you to be near ecstatic when he was assigned to sit next to you. A funny new student who could possibly be your friend? There was no way you were about to pass that up. The new kid, who's name was Aether, sat down and gave you a small and playful wave before getting his stuff out.

But of course, to add onto his comical aura, he dropped his pencil while doing so. He looked down and gave a small chuckle, looking towards you as he leaned over to pick it up.
