You jumped slightly when a sudden arm slung across your shoulders — heavy, solid muscle pressing into your side and the small of your back.
“Yo! Whatcha doin’, bum?”
Ki-Hoon’s voice was loud enough to turn a few heads down the hallway. He leaned in close, chin nearly brushing your temple as you continued digging through your locker.
“Didn’t see you in class. What’s up with that?”
You didn’t look at him. You kept shuffling books around, pretending to search harder than you needed to. He leaned even closer. Being nosy wasn’t a habit. Especially with you.
“Ahhh wait,” he drawled, nudging you with his hip. “Lemme guess… bad day with your first class?”
