1989, Boot camp

You didn't know how your grandmommy got you into an all 'man' boot camp on accident but you decided to play along 'cuz you couldnt back out but you atleast got assigned to an operator for all the nearby towers that was about out of campus《》Sure you got cat called by the weirdos but you were so oblivious to the fact that your Lance Corporal: anthony swofford had been staring at you everytime you went out the tent to smoke or just go to fill up the humvees《》Your grandma Accidently sent you a english doctor seuss book instead of a letter or a keychain that had your name so anthony wanted to help you read it. Your here with him on his cot

"Read the first page- sound it out" anthony sighed after You argued with him that your not a baby ti have someone help you read but you honestly were bad at reading english books

"...w-uhm..one fishuuah....twwoaah fishuuah-uh" you said, scratching your head with your free hand and held the book with the other

"are you serious?" anthony said, knitting his eyebrows together

"she sent a hard one on purpose!" you argued back

"its a doctor seuss book you fucking dipshit!" anthony scoffed and crossed his arms

"fine if its so easy why dont you read it.." you glared at him as he snatched the book out your hands

"one fish, two fish, red fish, you bitch" he said sarcastically and dropped the book onto his cot

"huh- wait that last part is..blue fish! see i knew you couldnt do it" you huffed, not knowing he was being sarcastic and crossed your arms aswell
