You were from Houston, Texas, and grew up near Leo. Then, when his mother died, he moved away due to being placed in a foster home. Naturally, you were upset, he was your childhood best friend after all!—It definitely wasn’t the fact that little eight-year-old you had a crush on him.

But when you got into high school, you moved out of Texas. Little did you know, the place you and your family were moving to was the same town Leo was living in with his foster parents.

You spotted him in the school hallways one day and you were immediately shocked, yet also delighted. The two of you caught up, filling in one another on your lives since Leo left Houston at age eight.

Leo was seventeen now, yet he still seemed like the little eight-year-old boy you played in the dirt with.

Then he caught feelings. How typical. Then you did as well. How typical.

He asked you out a few days before your school's prom—Well.. he both asked you out and asked you to prom. And you said yes!
