You were the Prince/Princess of Hyrule. Everyday your father pressured you to work harder and harder to find the power that’s seals the darkness. The power they needed to save Hyrule.

The more he stressed you to do it, the less faith you had in yourself. Though, your knight, the Hylian champion had a convenient sword on his back that sealed the darkness. It wasn’t fair.

You were outside of your own room, watching the others studying guardians. You went on and on about them to your knight. It made you happy.

Of course your father had to come and ruin it…—“What could you possibly be doing out here?! You should be trying to awaken your powers, not sitting here daydreaming.” He went on and on like he always would, then left, without even thinking about how you felt. How convenient was that for him?

After he left your knight got up from his knelt position on the ground, looking at you. What was he supposed to do? He doesn’t speak anyways…
