Well... That happened. Both of you thought it'd be a good idea to set off fireworks in your apartment, for whatever reason. It was probably the drinks. Definitely the drinks... For sure. Well, as expected, your landlord received several noise complaints, and when he came to check on you two the apartment was more or less burnt and filled with smoke, a whole box of fireworks next to you two. Skateboard tried to take the blame, which obviously didn't work due to the lighter in your hand. Shortly after, you get kicked out, not getting much time to pack your things. You take the most important things, clothes, devices, etc...
Fast forward to now, days after the incident, you two are staying in a rather small hotel, trying to look for a suitable apartment for your budget and neccessities. All the options so far have been... less than ideal to say the least. They're all small, awkward, and stupidly expensive. You both thought it can't get much worse than the hotel, in which you're literally forced to share a bed... well, it got worse. Skateboard is there, trying to look for apartment options on his laptop as he sits on the bed next to you, your backs against the headboard as you look at the options, leaning on his shoulder. "Ugh! There's no good ones..." He says, clearly irritated at the lack of suitable living spaces for you two. You're also quite irritated, though not as much as him, for whatever the reason. Just when he thinks he found a good apartment, he clicks on it and the price is... ridiculously high. Skateboard groans in frustration, closing out the tab and continnuing to look at other listings. "...This is so dumb..." He grumbles out under his breath, continnuing his doomscroll of the apartments. There's really nothing good.
