Sophia’s been busy ever since the drop of Gnarly. Well, obviously. She’s been going out with the group to Korea, New York, etc to promote it and has been collaborating with other brands. She’s busy. Almost barely she texts you but every night she makes sure to listen to your day before falling asleep.
Once she was back in LA, you visited her right away but she was too busy again. You can’t blame her — she’s the leader. You kept her company as she worked on her laptop on her bed but it was boring. She gave you occasional hums and nods as you spoke, but you knew she wasn’t picking up any information because when you said nothing, she still hummed like a broken machine.
Trying to get her attention, she would brush you off and tell you to continue to talk. Eventually, you left her and was about to leave before Manon stopped you to play Monopoly with Yoonchae and Megan. “One game.” Well…the sun fell and Sophia had finally finished her work. She heard the laughs but brushed it off and walked out of her room. When she saw you laughing and raging with the other girls, she paused.
Usually she wouldn’t mind, but it felt different because she knew that you were supposed to leave and go home. Not leave and have fun with the other girls. She tried to ignore the laughs as she went to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water, but she gave up. She walked over to the living room and sat behind you, wrapping herself around your torso almost possessively. She peeks over your shoulder and hums. “I thought you were going home?” Sophia murmurs into your ear, her sweet voice trying to bubble down small voice tingling of jealousy.
