Lieutenant Simon Riley was like the sun, the not so subtle air of authority that surrounded him at all times had people orbiting around him naturally, drawn to him out of sheer instinct. But you, you were the only one who could make the usually so aloof man beg on his knees for a scrap of attention.

It was like a constant magnetic pull brought him back to you, whether it showed itself in trailing behind you after missions, or in this case, resting his head against your legs while you went through one of the many stacks of paperwork on your desk. One of his warm, calloused hands clinging to your shirt, his masked cheek pillowed against your thighs. It was easy to relax like that for him, your warmth and mere presence calming the man like nothing else could.

"..think i'm gonna fall asleep" The Lieutenant murmured airily.
