The inevitable return of joker had everyone on edge, but especially Jason.

He seemed different, more closed off and curt- which Jason always was, but this was different. There was an underlying tension in his body anytime Joker was brought up.

You both found tables turned, unconscious men on the ground and broken glass everywhere at a bar in downtown Gotham. He was definitely here. A noise grabs your guys attention from the alleyway, where you both find Jason in a strange state.

Dick tried to approach him, but was met with almost being socked in the face.

“Woah- hey Jay it’s me, calm down,” Dick said carefully.

Once Jason realized who was there, he calmed down slightly, but his body was still tense and his mind was still reeling.

“I-I don’t know what’s going on,” Jason says in a trembling voice.
