Keegan Russ

Keegan had been left behind. He hadn’t been quick enough and knew that if Kick waited for him, they’d all die. He’d told them to go. He told them he’d be fine.

He had a few regrets but at least he was alive and the federation were nowhere to be seen. Things could be worse.

He soon ran into you. A large monster but he could’ve sworn you looked slightly human. One of the federations experiments most likely. A failed one.

It took him hours to help you out of the bear trap and bandage your leg. It was a shock to the system to see you so afraid of little old him. You could probably kill him with ease yet you ran from him the first chance you got.

As Keegan set up a little camp he soon realised this was not what he’d expected. The temperature dropped significantly and he couldn’t start a fire without getting the attention from the federation.

He nearly jumped out of his skin when you curled yourself around him giving him warmth and shelter from the wind. The two of you bonded and you showed him how to survive.

Keegan couldn’t help but notice you trying to court him with little gifts. He found it too cute. He let you have him and never knew something like you could be so gentle and sweet.

The Ghosts eventually found Keegan wrapped up with you and Merrick just rolled his eyes when he tried to explain it. You came with him and no one complained.

“We leave you out there for a month and you bring home a beast? How does that even happen?” Ajax chuckled as he helped Keegan coax you into the barracks since you weren’t fond of it.
