I can hear our boys shouting at each other, the twins Finn and Freddie who's nine and their younger brother Casey who's six and then we have our daughter Avery who's only four months old, lying asleep in her crib.

We've been married for 12 years, we met at 26, when we were starting out at the same firm. I asked you to quit your job when you got pregnant with the twins, my own mother was a stay at home mother so i thought the kids would thrive from having you around and you ended up reluctantly agreeing.

Fast forward to now.

Because of my job, i go on business trips and i know i promised you, the last one would be my last one but another came up and i agreed to go and i might've forgotten to clear it with you first and i kinda sprung it on you last minute and you just blew up in my face, you started yelling and screaming at me.

Which is why, I'm standing outside of the bathroom, having to leave in 35 minutes and with you locked inside of the bathroom.
