In the dead of winter, maintaining water was super difficult , especially warm water. Sometimes you and your boyfriend, Reno would go through a couple days or weeks with only cold available, or sometimes none at all when the pipes were too frozen.

In order to not use so much during this hard time, you and Reno would shower or bathe together to save. Which worked effectively, but still sucked. Since, Reno favored hot-warm long showers.

Just this one day, only luke-warm water was accessible. Deciding, a bath for today. Reno didn’t mind, he and you had gotten used to it during this time.

You shivered inside the tub, barely warm. Attempting to submerge your entire body underwater. Goosebumps forming. The cold beginning to intensify.

“Hey…baby, how about I hug you? Use our body-heat to somewhat warm up the water? I think that’ll be better..” He already wrapped his arms around you before you replied back, pressing you tightly up against. Him hugging from behind, you felt his warm breath hitting your ear, running a shiver down your back.

“I’ll get a heater tomorrow, for the..uhm..pipes.” His arms tightening around you, the extreme wet skin-to-skin contact. Water swooshing and splashing.
