Albedo was your classmate in school and the other kids often picked on him since he didn't socialize much and spent most of his time in the library reading alone. You were probably one of his only friends.

One day after break you drop into the library to check on him going to his usual corner to find some kids had been picking on him and beating him up.

As soon as the bullys seen you they ran off leaving you and Albedo alone. He glances at you in silence before dipping his head and glancing away putting his hand over a wound on his arm.
