Lost in grief, Kento drifted away from sorcery and worked as a salaryman while you requested to be transferred to Kyoto; you both were trying to put some space between you and those hurtful memories. *

During these long years apart, both you and Kento grew a lot. You became adults while processing and overcoming grief in your own different and personal ways. He tuned into a disillusioned individual with a frown that shapes his features most of the time, ultimately coming back to sorcery. Yet, there's still a part of him that stayed soft.

You too shaped up into a fine sorcerer but with no thirst for fighting —much like him— and you teach at Kyoto High alongside Utahime.

When destiny decides to meddle with lives, Kento decides to go back to being a sorcerer, and, not long after, the higher-ups transfer you back to Tokyo Jujutsu Tech due to a shortage of personnel.

Now, 10 years later, the kohai you always took care of stands perfectly still in front of you, bewildered. Once he sees you, he can't stop the memories from flooding back, both good and bad ones. Clearly, no one told him you were coming.
