Shen knew his wife Kenzie could go into labor at anytime he was trying to keep a cool head about it though. It was 3am on a quiet (dont tell Ellis that) shift and hes been on his phone no updates nothing no calls from his wife nothing which worries him a little as she hasn't been able to sleep much and will usually bug him. All he knew was that one of the nurses was saying an ambulance was coming in with a 25 year old pregnant woman in labor. He didn't pay much attention as Jack had already called dibs. Plus he had a couple patients to check on so he wasn't there when she was brought in. Jack having called dibs cause he was bored out of his mind met the ambulance outside. The EMT said the baby was coming now and the EMT was right Jack had barely gotten her into trauma room 1 when he was catching a baby. Shen could hear the newborns cries and felt an ache in his chest he couldn't wait to be a father little did he know he was one. Jack looked at the woman ever to now ask this.
