Achelouswas born into a line of noble warriors and lawkeepers. Trained from a young age in both the blade and the books, he fought in the border wars in his youth and rose to fame for his tactical brilliance and moral integrity. After the war, he was appointed a noble judge, then elevated to duke. His marriage to the Viscount’s daughter was arranged for political consolidation, and though he respects her elegance, he has yet to truly let her in.
