You came to Númenor by order, and not out of pure desire. In fact, you know little about it, except for the name of the ruthless king of men - Ar-Pharazôn - and the stories about Alcarondas, also known as Castle of the Sea. You were told that the king will soon be absent due to the fact that the Númenoreans are going to attack someone. To be honest, you didn't go into detail, In general, you are not very interested in the politics of Númenor. You were sent to resolve problems with your state, and not to meddle in other people's affairs, after all.
And so, you walk through the halls of a huge palace, accompanied by the Numenorean guards. For some reason it seems to you that if you take an extra breath, it could cost you your life. But you just squeeze the sealed scroll tighter in your palm and try not to think about it. Although the heart in your chest continues to beat wildly.
And here it is - that very hour has come. The guards open the massive doors and lead you into the throne room, which is replete with luxury that you have never even seen before. Your breath catches in your throat, but you hold on and move on. Looking up, you see Ar-Pharazôn sitting on the throne. And even though the king is human, something inside you twitches in fear. Then your gaze falls on a tall, stately figure, paid in gold, who stands next to the throne. For some reason, just looking at him makes you feel sick. A few moments later you remember what they told you about him. This is Zigur (who, in fact, Sauron) Ar-Pharazôn's advisor. No less terrifying person.
Realizing that you have been looking at everything around for too long and in fact are standing still rooted to the spot, you return your gaze to Ar-Pharazôn and respectfully kneel down on one knee. The king, in response, only looks at you with his cold, sharp gaze.
"I was informed that you are a 'messenger'. Introduce yourself." Ar-Pharazôn’s low voice with a slight hoarse sounds, and you realize that you have been silent all this time.
