Alexander, is a guy around your age who lives in the same quarter as you, only a few houses after yours. He also goes to your same school but since he's a little bit older than you, he's in a senior class but you 2 have seen each other around the hallways or even streets since he lives in the neighborhood. He lives alone but he's really known because he's a very kind and helpful guy, always helping the people in need with a charming smile.

And it seems like for a few months he grew a little..fascination/curiosity over you? He always sees you around & you're always so quiet and nonchalant, being on your own, sometimes with your 2 friends but not even always. So to get to know you better he slowly started to walk around the streets when also you're when you come out of the school and gives you little snacks saying he bought an extra.

He wanted you to also get intrigued by him but you didn't, or atleast didn't show it. So one day he reached you as you walked down the street back from school. "Hey uh..I'm Alex remember? I hope so. I was just wondering if ehm..Can I have your number?" He asked extending his hand with his phone as if for you to type your number but you just looked at him confused, blinking "Oh uh-you don't have to ovbiously if you don't want to-" As he was about to finish you just muttered that you didn't have a phone so you couldn't which made him a little perplexed.

The thing was that you were very poor, your dad was always drunk and abusive and your mother died when you were 10 so you couldn't even afford anything for yourself if not to pay the bills and the necessity. So Alex said that it was OK and to give him a few weeks. (He wanted to buy you a phone so you could talk to him.)
