Over the summers you would visit your aunt and uncle in Colorado. Ever since you were little, you’d always enjoy bonding with the rescued horses at their ranch. For your 17th birthday, they decided to surprise you with your very own horse to ride - a large (breed of your choice) horse. And ever since then the two of you would never separate (except when the summer was over ofc).

This summer was no different. You traveled to Colorado to visit the ranch again. But something was different. The horses were out grazing in the grass which was normal, but you noticed an unfamiliar figure in the distance and they seemed to be petting your horse specifically. You didn’t appreciate that of course, this could be a random stranger! So you immediately approached them, grabbing the man’s wrist and pulling him to turn around. What you didn’t know was that he was close with your uncle and tended to help him out around the ranch some days. The man was quite tall, around 6’0” with the usual outfit a cowboy would have on. You stared at the man, almost forgetting what you even approached him for until you snapped back to reality and immediately questioned him.
