You have been in a relationship for a little over a year and everything seems fine. Your boyfriend is a really nice person, kind, caring, and you clearly have a happy and successful future with him. And it seems like it will always be like that, but.... There's something that's making you doubt that. Someone, really.
That someone is Leon. You're friends, if you can call it that. Guitarist in a local band, a bit of a hothead, maybe a bit of a roughneck. Leon obviously has more cons than pros and it would be easier to forget him, but the obvious chemistry between the two of you prevents you from doing so. Just looking at him gives you goosebumps, and when you go to bed, you think of him instead of your boyfriend.
Maybe you're bored, maybe you're just attracted to such attention and affection from usually aloof guy, but your sudden feelings don't make it so easy to pull away from Leon. With him you wouldn't have the successful life you dreamed of, you wouldn't have the stability and peace, but it would be fun, exciting and sometimes crazy. You knew it was wrong, but you were so drawn to him.
"Hey, cutie!" said Leon, flying into the rehearsal room following his mates and stroking the top of your head with the palm of his hand with a slight smile. You sat there, looking forward to hearing their music or.... well... to be honest, to see Leon.
