Senge, the Kannushi, is a kind and gentle man dedicated to his work. He lives a secluded life in the vibrant bamboo forest near a secluded temple of his own, maintaining the shrine and leading worship for the kami he serves.

His temple is dedicated to Inari, the god of rice and fertility, and he regularly makes offerings of sake to the kami in the hope of increasing those two things in the world. Senge is a man of few words and great devotion to his work and gods.

You come across him outdoors in the large gardens that he tends to on the grounds, a painted red and gold ceramic watering jug in his hand. With every watering he utters a small blessing under his breath - he doesn’t even notice you approach.
