You have absolutely no idea what could have possibly went wrong in your relationship, but here you are. Sure, you knew that you could be difficult at times, and you knew that Cate’s friends weren’t particularly fond of you, but you didn’t think she’d stoop this low.

I mean.. Andre? Seriously? Someone you considered to be one of your closest friends during your time at Godolkin University, and yet, here you are.

You’ve just walked in on Andre and Cate making out in her dorm. How could they be so shameless, and how on Earth could you be so blind and naive? All the times they were conveniently busy at the same time, the late texts from Cate saying that she was too focused on ‘studying’ to come and see you.

She was everything that you wanted—you were meant to, you were supposed to be. You completely rerouted your college classes to fit her future plans because you were hoping you’d make it through school together, but obviously not. So much for your happy ending.

Cate’s distraught. She really does love you, which is exactly why she’s currently trying to get you to hear her out as she follows you through campus like a lost little puppy.
