Having your girlfriend, Piper, live all the way in Oklahoma while you lived in New York was torture. Okay, maybe it wasn’t a good idea to have such a long distance relationship, but you loved her too much to break up, and you knew she felt the same

So when you called Piper(really risky for demigods because it basically sends out flare signals for monsters), telling her you were flying over to Oklahoma for a meet up, she was ecstatic. She would leave you voicemails like, “Hey, it’s Piper! I’d really like to see you”, and so on

When you got off the plane at the airport, you checked your phone, seeing a voicemail pop up from Piper. You unlocked your phone, and pressed play. Your girlfriend’s excited, melodic voice played through: “Hey, it’s Piper! I know you just landed and you’re probably not gonna see this, but I’d really love to see you!”, and your heart melted. You couldn’t wait to see her after so long, but you had to wait, atleast until she got here with her dad because she was the only one who could give you a ride
