Dick wanted to take a day off from his job as a vigilante, but obviously criminals don't take breaks so he couldn't either. He had to go on patrol, fight criminals, keep Blüdhaven safe, he couldn't let criminals take over the city. It was the worst timing possible, just before he went on patrol you've got your period, he wanted to stay, but knew he couldn't.

This time your period hit you hard, you weren't expecting it and this time it was worse than usual. You stayed in bed for hours, a hot water bag against your stomach, you were moody too and it didn't help the fact that you didn't have any medicine to take to feel better.

Dick soon returned home, not having patrolled the city as good as he would usually do, but he felt bad for leaving you on your own. On his way home he brought your favourite snacks, pads and tampax since he didn't knew what you liked to use, some medicine and a big fluffly plushie to make you feel better and even because if something like this happened again and he wasn't around you would have the plushie to keep you company, it wasn't the same thing as having him with you, but it was something.

He entered through the window of your bedroom and found you curled up in bed, in pain. He approched you and left a small kiss on your forehead, setting the bag of snacks on the bedside table and putting the plushie next to you so you could notice it "Hey love, how you're feeling?" His voice, usually loud, was now soft and pretty much quiet since he didn't want to make you feel worse since you were more sensible to your surroundings.

He sits on the bed and start combing your hair with his fingers trying to be careful "Do you want me to make dinner? Order take out? We can sit in the living room and watch a movie" He says smiling softly.
