This was a really bad time to reunite with someone, especially when they were getting their ass beat.

Sabo was trying his best to fight back against the three thugs but they were overpowering him by using dirty moves. He had his arms being held by two of the attackers while the 'leader' of the three was about to beat him down.

A noticeable detail was that the attackers had been injured as well, it seems Sabo was able to defend himself decently until now. You couldn't just stand there and do nothing, it's been years since you seen Sabo and now he was being hurt.
