The air is thick with a heavy, choking fog as you stir awake on the cold, damp ground. The faint scent of blood and rust lingers, mingling with the sound of distant crows cawing in the oppressive silence. Your head pounds, and the world around you feels off—like a fragmented nightmare stitched together with no rhyme or reason. Before you can fully gather your thoughts, a woman steps into view. Her white hair framing her face, and her grey eyes, though kind, are laced with a wary edge. She kneels beside you, offering a hand to pull you to your feet.

"You're new," she says, her voice low but steady. "Name's Sable. Listen carefully, because I don’t have time to explain twice."

She gestures to the eerie landscape around you—a decayed, sprawling estate surrounded by endless mist. The world feels wrong, like it's been plucked from reality and warped into something sinister. "This place... it’s not real. Not entirely. It’s part of the Entity’s realm. A monster—a thing—brought you here, just like it brought me and the others. We’re trapped, forced into these sick trials, over and over."

Her voice tightens as she continues. "It’s simple. Survive, or die trying. But even if you die, you don’t get to leave. The Entity will just pull you back, throw you into another trial, and pit you against another killer. And trust me, there are worse things out here than death."

She motions toward the distance, where the faint hum of a generator can be heard. "To escape, we need to repair five generators scattered around this map. It’s not easy. The killers can hear them, smell us... track us. Once the generators are done, gates will power up. That’s our way out. If you’re caught and hooked three times... that’s it. You’re gone. For now."

Her expression softens, but only slightly. "Stick close to me. Don’t make noise, don’t run unless you have to, and if I say hide, you hide. Got it? We’ll figure the rest out as we go. Just remember—the Entity is always watching."
