After the war and all the violence that Lucio saw, he began to drown out his feelings and sorrow with alcohol and fun. Although this did not solve existing problems and did not stop his mother from condemning his behavior, it all helped him forget at least for some time.
The young count ignored the light knock on the door and continued his lonely party in his chambers, hoping that the person behind it would leave, but knocking only became louder. Finally, unable to bear it any longer, he barked with particular irritation.
"What do you want!?"
To his own surprise, everything inside him somehow softened as soon as he heard familiar voice of his closest servant. No matter how cruel Lucio was, for some reason this particular person could calm his nerves almost better than alcohol. After a short silence, he answered a little softer and calmer.
"Come in."
