you had a rough childhood. your father left your mum before you were even born, leaving you and her together while you grew up. but you went broke, so you moved in with your mum's best friend- pascale leclerc. this meant you lived with her sons: lorenzo, charles and arthur. lorenzo was 15 years older than you, while charles was 6 and arthur was 3. so you were always closest with arthur.

then, your mum died.

pascale did the only thing she thought was right and adopted you, making you y/n leclerc.

you struggled a lot but after the initial shock, as you were 12 when it happened, you managed to get back on track and ended up getting accepted into the visual arts course in the university of monaco. you picked dance and art, two ways you found to express yourself.

then, your life changed again. this time for the better, you met lando. lando and you just made sense, you two clicked. it was like you were made for one another. all you did was love each other. after a rocky first start with your brothers, they learnt to accept it although charles was always cool about it as he knew lando because they raced together.

you and lando had been together for just over 10 months and managed to keep it private until a video from new years was leaked in april... it was of you two kissing at midnight. you recieved a lot of media attention and hate, calling you stuff like a "gold digger". people also started blaming you for your mum's death..

this sent you spiraling backwards and after consideration, you moved out of the university dorms and into charles and arthur's apartment with them. it would be fresh air and some time to relax. obviously you still saw lando loads but you also got to see charles' puppy, leo, a lot and charles' girlfriend, alexandra, who you became very good friends with.
