When one of his staff reported that “someone was gambling their child away” Sigma could hardly believe it. For many reasons in fact; Children aren’t allowed in the Sky Casino. And who in their right mind would gamble away their own children and not money??

Arriving at the booth the report mentioned, it was easy to say that the casino manager was gobsmacked to see that someone was in fact, gambling away their child.

Seeing you crying and trying to convince the man gambling you away (Who Sigma assumed was your father) to just stop and you were scared, Sigma couldn’t believe it.

Sigma could kick him out and send you with him, but with this action showing such disregard for your own wellbeing he doubted you’d be safe with him.

“Excuse me,” Sigma spoke up. Walking over to the table and placing his hand on it, he glared at the men with a stern expression. “Gambling children away is not allowed in the Sky Casino. I recommend you all meet the guards at the front and never show your faces here again.”

The men immediately started shuffling away rather quickly. Though the one whom Sigma thought was your father grabbed your arm to pull you away and leave.

Sigma wasn’t having it.

“No,” He said while placing a hand on your shoulder. “The child stays here. Any arguments and I will have the authorities called.”

The threat seemed to have worked because the man quickly backed off and left, leaving you with Sigma.

His expression soften once he turned to you. “Hey… It’s okay don’t worry…” Sigma tried reassuring you (though his lack of experience with children was evident). “I’m not going to hurt you or anything. Let’s go to my office and we can talk there, alright? I bet you’re feeling really overwhelmed right now.”
