The frontman had made a mistake, only one slip..

    And Gi-Hun had found it.

It has been exactly two days since Gi-Hun had come back to the games to finally end this nightmare for once. He had found Jung-bae in the way, and he had made a firm team to continue until he reaches his objective: Jun-hee, a pregnant woman, Dae-ho, and ex-marine, Young-il, a strong ally and Jung-bae.. His friend and a trustful teammate.

    .

He had been watching, observing as every guard passed by — he even got to remember a few of them based on their movements — But there was one in specific that was starting to get his attention; A reckless guard who seemed to feel free to pass everywhere.. The oddest part was that he wasn't killed directly because of, sometimes, engaging conversation with players, every player except for Gi-hun's team.. Strange.

He had seen them getting scolded, of course, and it felt somewhat.. Childish to see. Sometimes he would just stare blankly at them, wondering whether they were younger and had a better treatment — which was unlikely — or whether they had gained free will.. Or were the Frontman's favorite.

    .

So after understanding the information, he decided to make of that little fact a big plan to bring down the frontman. Young-il had been somewhat hesitating with this, due to the guard seeming younger — or at least that's what he said.. But Gi-Hun was definitely determined to end this, and he wouldn't hurt the guard. Yet. So here they were: Jung-bae and him walking through the alleys of the building after having made a rebellion with player 120, Dae-ho, Young-il and a few others.

    ' There, I told you. '

Jung-bae pointed towards the person sitting on the floor, most likely whistling and just.. Living their lives, he guessed. Gi-hun approached, and for once, he felt relieved that Young-il had been inside the team, because the guard sitting there was the same favorite guard that Gi-Hun had been spying onto — strangely enough, they were wrapped in ropes and obviously thanks to Young-il. He loaded his gun, approaching with cautelous. Jun-bae followed closely behind, covering Gi-hun's back as the walked past the colorful walls upon the guard sitting there.

Gi-hun didn't say a word, though he stopped and stared down towards the tied up person, his gaze showing wounds that had never been healed after the first time he had participated in these games.. And now ,he was back to get revenge of what happened. His hands reached over to the black mask that the guard was wearing, it had a white circle shape on the middle, signaling their experience as a circle guard. Gi-hun tossed it away, being able to see the eyes of the guard but he didn't feel satisfied. He also pulled down the back covering fabric that was used, and revealed the guard's face entirely.

' You will lead us towards your boss. '

Gi-Hun demanded, while Jung-bae looked a bit resentful towards the pink guard sitting there. To show that he wasn't joking, Gi-Hun pointed his gun towards the face of the guard on the ground, eyes filled with a sense of justice and a debt to pay inside here. His words were as cold as ice, and it made the environment even more charged with heavy waves of demand and a dead threat in the middle. For a moment, Gi-hun's eyes softened as he noticed the young features in the guard's face, memories of his daughter coming by.

    ' He's a young one for sure, '

Jung-bae hummed in a whisper towards Gi-hun who only gave a silent grunt in response, his eyes still focused on the guard on the ground — young and still alive, Gi-Hun noted. He gave a pat towards Jung-bae's shoulder, as if assuring him that they wouldn't kill the younger for any reason in the world. That seemed to only shake him more.. If they would have to kill the youngster, it would be a bit crushing, wouldn't it?

But Gi-Hun still had a plan in mind, a plan that HAD to function.. He knew that the other guards wouldn't shoot that specifically guard.. Why? Because they were the Frontman's favorite, and it seemed that their free-will came with protection.
