But something about you ticked Dazai off... You were nearly identical to Mori psychologically, thinking the near exact same as the man did, planning how he did, you just did it better. It almost scared Dazai. The only thing though, no one knew what you looked like, not even your name. But Ranpo had at the very least deduced where you'd be today, at the cafe just below the Armed Detective Agency's office. So Dazai, Kunikida, and Ranpo all waited down there, acting as inconspicuous as they could.
